Organi: Organic Night Cream

Many people believe that night cream is the most importance. It is said that night cream works when we are sleeping. Night time is the optimal time to maximize existing natural processes that occur in your skin. It is more receptive to ingredients that will help restore and revitalize its appearance. Therefore, night cream should contain ingredients that support the skins natural regeneration process during night time. It usually comes in thicker texture than day cream.  

 

Anyway, for last two weeks, I used Organi Night Cream. Now, here is my say:

Benefit: Intensive night moisturizer

 

Detail:

What can I say? Well, the texture is thicker than the day cream but no greasy at all. It’s easy to apply and easy to be absorbed. This brown cream did a good job in moisturizing my skin. But, just like the day cream, it triggered my skin to break out. In addition, my skin looks so dull. Despite of its beautiful packaging and price, this product doesn’t work for me. I couldn’t say anything more. At the end, I used this product as my day hand cream – even as a hand cream, this product didn’t perform well. The moisturizing effect didn’t last.

Drawback:

It seems that my skin reacted negatively to this product. This product might be good for people with different skin conditions. 

Alila Living: Indian Fig Finishing Cream

Last October I visited Bali and eventually managed to buy Alila Living products in Alila resort at Ubud. (link  Alila Ubud website).  One of the products I bought is Indian Fig Finishing Cream – it’s a day and night cream. I thought this product is made by using Indian fig as the main ingredient (note: Indian fig is a species of cactus with edible fruit. The medical and cosmetics uses of Indian fig are very well-known).  When I read the ingredients carefully, I don’t really understand whether this product is using Indian fig or not.  Anyway, I have been using this product for more than 2 weeks and it’s time for me to share my experience:

Detail:

I use this nut-brownie cream day and night after applying Pure C serum from Alila Living. When I open the jar, I immediately smell the herbal scent. The herbal scent is kinda powerful and it lingers quite long. If you like herbal scent, this would not be a problem. This light cream provides heavy and rich coverage – uhm…how to explain..this cream is light, I can feel it on my fingers, but when I apply it on my face, this cream is a bit difficult to spread evenly, but it sinks quickly into my skin. What I love most from this cream is that it works wonderfully on my skin. I wake up with fresh and glow skin. My skin is nourished and soft. This cream, packed in an elegant black container and box, helps to reduce the appearance of my acne scars. Love it!!

Drawback:

• Yes I have to say, even to my dry skin, this cream makes my face looks  a bit oily. I use BB cream and loose powder to cover-up oily effect of this cream and they work!!

• I just do expect that in the future there will be an indicator of shelf life on the packaging.

Derma e: Hyaluronic Acid Night Crème (ENG)

 My fist experience using Derma e product was when I found Derma e Herbal Relief  (link) at Guardian store at Sanur, Bali. I’m satisfied with that product, so I browsed a bit about Derma e.  Derma e was founded by The Stearn family in 1960s. They discovered that vitamin e – which was only available in dietary supplement in that era, has same benefits either takes it orally or topically. Interesting, huh? Therefore The Stearn family launched Vitamin E 12,000 I.U. Moisturizing Crème – this is the first product of Derma e and still very popular today. The “e” at Derma e represents vitamin e. Vitamin e is recognized as antioxidant with beneficial properties for skin. Derma e commits to produce high quality, natural, cruelty free personal care products that formulated for results.

In coincidently, I found a range of Derma e products when I visited Guradian store at Jakarta when I was about to buy Tolak Angin. Huah, I was so excited! After browsing Derma e product information, I decided to buy Hyaluronic Acid series – day crème, serum and night crème – as this series is formulated for dry skin with super deep moisture. I will share my experience using Derma e Hyaluronic Acid products one by one, starting with the night crème.

An ultra nourishing and hydrating night crème, powered with hyaluronic acid.

Detail:

While this product is acknowledged as ultra moisture crème, this crème goes smoothly and absorbed instantly on my skin. This nice thick crème makes my skin glow, soft and smooth. I’m always happy to see my face every morning when I wake up because I can see my better looking skin. Anyway, Derma e contains all natural ingredients, do not expect instant results. I have to say the first days using this night crème, I had breakouts and I was a bit panic hahaha.. – but then I realized it was my PMS period, so I kept continue using this product to see its further effect.  After 2 weeks continuously using this product, my skin looks better!  One more thing from this product is that I found the smell is sweet, fruity. It smells like banana!!

Drawback: 

None! Just be patient to see the results.

I love this product from its concept to its texture. And yes Derma e Hyaluronic Acid Night Crème is really delivering its promises!

Saya berkenalan dengan merek Derma e ketika ga sengaja menemukan Derma e Herbal Relief di Guardian di Sanur. I’m satisfied with that product, jadi saya cari-cari informasi, googling Derma e. Ternyata Derma e ini didirikan oleh keluarga Stearn di Amerika pada tahun 1960. Keluarga Stearn ini menemukan fakta bahwa vitamin E dalam bentuk krim punya khasiat sama dengan vitamin e bentuk tablet. Menarik ya… Oleh sebab itu produk pertama yang dihasilkan oleh Derma e adalah “Vitamin E 12,000 I.U. Moisturizing Crème” – produk ini masih popular sampai sekarang lho… Huruf “e” di merek Derma e memang mewakili vitamin e. Vitamin e dikenal sebagai antioksidan dengan berbagai khasiat bagi  kulit. Derma e ini berkomitmen menciptakan dan menghasilkan produk yang high quality, natural, cruelty free dan efektif.

Ga sengaja juga saya menemukan rangkain produk skin care Derma e pas saya ke Guardian di Jakarta mau beli Tolak Angin. Hohoho…I’m so excited. Saya bergegas browsing lagi, kali ini cari info produk jenis apa yang cocok dengan kondisi kulit saya. Akhirnya, saya memutuskan beli rangkaian produk Hyaluronic Acid - day crème, serum and night crème. Rangkaian produk Hyaluronic Acid ini diformulasikan untuk kulit kering dengan pelembab super. I will share my experience using Derma e Hyaluronic Acid products one by one, starting with the night crème.

Meskipun dibilang sebagai pelembab super extra dalam bentuk krim, tapi night crème ini gampang diaplikasikan dan diserap kulit. Crème dengan teksture yang thick ini membuat kulit saya tampak glowing, soft dan smooth. Saya selalu happy melihat wajah saya sendiri di kaca tiap pagi ketika bangun tidur karena kulit wajah saya look better!  Derma e ini crème dengan natural ingredients, jangan berharap hasil instant. Malah hari-hari pertama saya pake crème ini, jerawat sempet nongol di beberapa tempat dan bikin panic. Tapi hey, itu kan masa-masa PMS saya…jadi anyway, saya terusin aja pake produk ini. Sampe setelah 2 minggu, kulit saya tampak better. Ah, satu lagi, produk ini smell sweet, aroma buah. It smells like banana!

Drawback: None! Harap sabar melihat hasilnya ya..

I love this product from its concept to its texture. And yes Derma e Hyaluronic Acid Night Crème is really delivering its promises!

 

Juice Beauty: Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer

Setelah sekian lama barang yang saya idam-idamkan datang dari pemesanan kedua ke Strawberry net, tiba saatnya saya mau review Juice Beauty: Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer. Saya mulai menggunakan Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer ini sepulang dari liburan 10 hari di Bali, saat kulit saya membutuhkan nutrisi extra untuk recover setelah berhari-hari di bawah matahari sehingga tampak kusam. Saya menggunakannya bersamaan dengan rangkaian Juice Beauty Green Apple series lainnya: Green Apple Age Defy Serum dan Green Apple SPF 15 Moisturizer.

Moisturizer berbasis 100% organic juice yang melembabkan, mengencangkan kulit, mencerahkan  dan bersifat anti aging 

Detail:

Di awal penggunaan, saya pakai Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer ini sebagai krim malam dan diaplikasikan setelah penggunaan Green Apple Age Defy Serum. Krim berwarna kuning kehijauan ini teksturnya sangat ringan dan mudah diaplikasikan secara merata di wajah. Baunya mirip fermentasi apple. Produk ini melembabkan kulit tanpa pake lengket dan oily. However, di hari-hari pertama penggunaan produk ini sebagai krim malam, di keesokan harinya saya tidak merasakan instant results. Hari-hari pertama penggunaan, ketika bangun pagi, wajah saya moist dan tampak agak oily. Namun setelah dua minggu rutin menggunakan produk ini, kulit wajah jadi lebih glowing, firm dan smooth. It really works! My skin beneran recovered. Luv it!

Drawback:

Menurut warning dari website Juice Beauty, Produk ini mengandung AHA dari asam buah, sehingga tidak dianjurkan bagi yang memiliki kulit yang sangat sensitive.

Well, personally I love this stuff. Produk ini beneran powerful tanpa toxic chemical ingredients. Faboulous!
