Corine de Farme: Baby Lotion

At first, I was looking for a natural body lotion – I went to pharmacies, checked department stores as well as online stores but I didn’t find any good body lotion (natural ingredients with good value for money). Then I remembered Corine de Farme! They have baby products and yes, they have baby lotion with natural ingredients – based on 97% of natural origins. Here is my second Corine de Farme product: baby lotion for myself!

After using this baby lotion for 2 weeks, here is my experience:

Benefit: Gentle moisturizer for babies and adults

I use this baby lotion twice a day, after morning and evening shower. The texture of this baby lotion is lightweight and easy to applied and quickly absorbed into my skin. It doesn’t leave greasy residue. This lotion makes my skin soft and what I love most from this product is the sweet almond scent – it’s so wonderfully sweet and not overpowering. This ultra light body lotion is perfect in a sunny day and perfect for tropical weather. I will not recommend this lotion for someone with dry skin. For my normal to dry skin, I’m happy using this lotion, even though sometimes I combine it with MooGoo Udder Cream. Overall, I love it!

Drawback:  

There is no sunscreen nor SPF ingredients listed – hey, wait this is a baby lotion! Well, yes I use sunscreen after applying this baby lotion during day time.

Last thing to say: I wish Corine de Farme in the near future launch the real body lotion for adults in Indonesia…

Bali-Organics: Frangipani Orange Body Lotion (ENG)

While waiting for boarding call to return to Jakarta at Ngurah Rai airport, I explored around all shops selling Balinese souvenirs, snacks etc. Then I stopped at Batik Keris shop and started to look around to find any unique, cute things to kill the time. Then, one series of products grabbed my attention. It’s called Bali Organics – sitting in the skin care shelf of Batik Keris and hey.. they have a very attractive packaging! When I read information at the back of the package, the first line is written “free of Parabens”. I’m sold!

I haven’t heard about Bali-Organics before. In the package is written the website of this company www.baliorganics.com so I visited the website. That website contains information on organic fertilizer as well as selling it. Huh, it must be a wrong one. I googled bali organics body lotion then I found the real one: www.bali-organics.com Haduh, how come the producer or marketer of this products put down the wrong information – especially wrong WEBSITE on the package. Anyway, the website doesn’t really have much information. It shows only different type of products. That’s all. 

Anyway, after using this Frangipani-Orange body lotion for 3 days every day and night, I would like to share my review.

This body lotion is not thick at all. It goes in very quick and it’s not greasy, waxy or oily at all. When I apply this lotion to my skin, I can smell the orange scent, but I don’t really recognize the frangipani one. The scent is so fresh and I believe this body lotion is perfect for summer time! The scent doesn’t linger too long – it fades away once the lotion dry. After applying the lotion, my skin is feeling moisturized.

As a marketing person, I have to repeat again how I love the packaging. The color and picture combination is simply perfect. The natural image is really strong and it’s perfect for a gift. The size of the product is perfect for traveling.

Drawback:

·         I don’t really see “organic” ingredients. Referring to the list of ingredients, the name “bali-organics” is kinda misleading

·         The moisturizing effect does not long lasting.

·         No SPF elements

I don’t have any idea where to buy this product but at Batik Keris, at Ngurah Rai airport. This product is nearly perfect for holidays in summer time – wish they have the one with SPF! It’s fresh, it’s light! Interested to try?

Bali-Organics: Frangipani Orange Body Lotion

Ketika menunggu panggilan boarding di Bandara Ngurah Rai, Bali – untuk kembali ke Jakarta, saya menelusuri toko-toko di ruang tunggu boarding yang menjajakan berbagai souvenir, makanan dan sebagainya. Saya mampir di toko Batik Keris dan mulai mengamati barang-barang di dalam toko Batik Keris – semoga ada yang unyu unyu hehee… Kemudian saya menemukan satu seri produk lotion “Bali Organic”, yang bertengger dengan manis di rak bagian skin care. Wah, kemasannya menarik dan ketika saya baca keterangan produknya, baris pertama disebutkan “bebas parabens”. BELI!!!!

Saya belum pernah denger merek Bali Organics sebelumnya. Di kemasan produk ini dicantumkan alamat website nya, yaitu www.baliorganics.com. Setelah saya klik, nah lho ini website jualan pupuk organic hahaha.. Setelah googling sana sini, baru deh dapet website yang bener: www.bali-organics.com. Haduh ini produsennya engga banget deh sampe kasi alamat website yang salah. Tapi anyway, website –nya pun engga kasih info apapun selaen info jenis produknya. Cape deh…

Setelah menggunakan body lotion Frangipani-Orange ini selama 3 hari, tiap pagi malam, I would like to share my review.

Frangipani-Orange body lotion ini teksturnya engga kental, cepat terserap ke dalam kulit dan tidak meninggalkan kesan licin dan lengket. Aromanya jeruk segar – saya engga bisa recognize aroma frangipani-nya. Aroma jeruk segar ini engga bertahan lama dan aroma ini cocok banget dipake pas summer.

Again, sebagai orang marketing, saya musti ulang lagi kalo I love the packaging. Kombinasi warna hijau, putih dan gambar bunga frangipani-nya keren. Kesannya produk ini natural dan kemasannya cocok banget buat kado. Sementara ukuran produknya cocok buat dibawa traveling.

Drawback:

·     Nama “Bali Organics” agak membingungkan dan agak menyesatkan – I don’t really see “organic” ingredients here.

·        Efek pelembabnya kurang tahan lama.

·        Absennya SPF di produk ini yang padahal cocok nih buat fun under the sun.

Saya kurang tahu dimana bisa membeli produk ini selain di Batik Keris, bandara Ngurah Rai di Bali. Produk ini sebenernya cocok buat liburan pas summer – semoga nantinya mereka memikirkan produk dengan SPF aja.. It’s fresh, it’s light! Interested to try?
