MooGoo: 100% Organic Rosehip Oil

The skin secret of supermodel is revealed: rosehip oil! David Gandy and Miranda Kerr are using rosehip oil to make their skin hydrated and glowing, according to Yahoo UK news. I use this rosehip oil as face serum, so I apply it after I cleanse my face and before applying moisturizer. I use it in conjunction with MooGoo MSM Soothing Cream, twice a day. This orange reddish oil smells light – it doesn’t have strong disturbing scent as I thought. One pump is enough to apply to entire face and neck. It absorbs quickly and it doesn’t greasy. 

The results? Oh, I really love this product. I love the way it clears up my skin. It lightens my skin and reduces acne spots and acne scars as well as fine lines around my eyes. I also use it as eye serum and it works wonderfully soften skin around my eyes. It is super effective in moisturizing my skin! I love to see how nice my skin after using rosehip oil!

When it comes to packaging, I love this MooGoo’s airtight with pump bottle – it makes me easy to dispense the oil without any mess. Paula’s Choice: Earth Sourced series

Last Christmas I decided to buy myself some books to accompany my Christmas time at home. After wandering around the web, I finally ordered two books from Paula Begoun aka the Cosmetics Cop: “The Original Beauty Bible (3^rd edition)”  and “Don’t Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me (9^th edition). Paula Begoun has been so famous with her Beautypedia where she reviewed and gave rating of many different brands of cosmetics. In fact, it’s a little bit controversial when she also launches her own skin care line and reviewed and gave highest rating for her own line. Well, therefore I ordered her books to know more about her views of cosmetics.

I ordered her books from Paula’s Choice Indonesia website and the service was very fast and excellent. Once I submitted my order, I received email from the customer service to inform me the amount I have to pay and a form to fill in order to get 3 free samples. After I returned filled form, I received another email saying that I will receive the samples of Earth Sourced series considering my concern of using natural and organic products. In two days, I received my package: 2 books and the samples.

Here I would like to share my experience using the samples of Earthed Sourced. MooGoo: MSM Soothing Cream

MSM or METHYLSULFONYLMETHANE or organic sulfur is basically found in many different foods such as broccoli, cabbage, aloe vera, algae and sprouts. According to Natural News, MSM is well known as “the beauty mineral” as MSM softens the skin and makes it smoother, more hydrated and "flexible" and it also helps even skin tone, diminish hyper pigmentation and age spots.  From another website, I found the fact that MSM helps to promote elasticity, healing and repair. It makes cell walls more permeable, allowing nutrients and water to flow freely into cells. It also helps wastes and toxins to flow out. What a wonderful ingredient!

After reading information on the benefits of MSM, I bought MooGoo MSM Soothing Cream with a hope of healing my acne scars and diminishing redness of my acne scars. After almost empty the bottle (75ml), here I share my experience:

I use MooGoo MSM Soothing Cream twice daily, in conjunction with MooGoo  100% Organic Rosehip Oil. While in the MooGoo website stated that Full Cream is the creamiest cream ever, I found this MSM Soothing Cream is the moistest of all MooGoo creams! The texture of this milky white cream is a little bit thick but it’s quite easy to sink in to my skin without making my face looks greasy. Unlike other MooGoo creams that smell like vanilla or milk, I don’t smell any specific scent of this cream. 

How about the results? It makes my skin looks mate but actually it hydrates my skin and it works wonderfully reducing redness of my face because of acnes. It also helps to prevent my face to break out – except during my period. And hey, have I told you that this cream is also kind of healing my acne scar, diminishing sun spots on my face?  Hoaaahh… I think MSM Soothing Cream and Rosehip Oil are perfect combination! 

I recently tried this MSM Soothing Cream for hand and nail cream. I applied it at night before bed. In the morning when I woke up I felt my hand felt so moist, soft and smooth. It’s lovely!

I apply this eye serum around my eyes twice a day. The texture of this scent free eye serum is oily but it easily sinks into my skin.  This eye serum works for me. It hydrates around eyes area, as well as lighten my panda eyes. It also reduces my eye bags and smoothes my fine lines. The differences are noticeable! Every morning when I wake up, I have no worries on panda eyes, tired and puffiness looking eyes. Love this product! Even though it’s basically eye oil, it’s comfortable to use, no irritation and it feels natural for me.

I also apply this eye serum to my face. At first, because I pumped the serum too much, then I applied it to eyes area and all of my face. I’m so glad for this “accident”. It’s a perfect match for MooGoo Anti-ageing Face Cream. 

Drawback:

Just like Alila Living Eye Serum, it takes extra cautious when applying this oil serum to prevent it gets into my eyes
